Our last little Ebert addition was born Friday. Baby Miriam is named after Steve's Grandmother, Miriam Milne, and was fittingly born on her wedding anniversary. She is also named after my grandma, Carol Spendlove, and Great-Grandmother Caroline Romney Eyring (a good dose of Grandma Eyring's characteristics of determination, optimism, strength, persistence and high expectations, is definitely hoped for in baby Miriam!) Our children already call Miriam "baby Mia", her approved nickname.Miriam's first moments in our world . . .
Following her sisters' petite birth weights in the 5 to 7 pound range, apparently Miriam wasn't too pleased with her healthy 8+ pounds.

Miriam's siblings are simply crazy about her. They have created cards for her, sung songs about her, snuggled her and even fought over her.
We can't wait for baby Miriam to meet her wonderful Calder family.

I'm glad you named her Miriam (Mia). I was going to recommend that, but I worried that you might go the other way. Everybody looks great. We're very excited to see you guys and the rest of the family in July and August. Until then...
