On Wednesday, May 20, at 11:10am our son, John Oblad Calder Jr. was born. He weighed 9 lbs. 15.6 ounces and measured 22 inches in length. As you know, he is my parent's first grandchild and Grandma and Grandpa Calder's 12th great-grandchild! Here are some of our favorite photos.

And grandpa Scott has a nice ring to it; although, my kids would prefer the title "Grandpa Nerdy." Enjoy this precious time with your first newborn child. Before you know it, you'll have six kids running around and you won't know what hit you.
